The Arab Heritage Month Celebration April 2025
With possible funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the support of the New York Folklore Society, Nada odeh and the Arabesques team was able to host a community event celebrating Arab American Heritage Month. The event was held at the Buffalo History Museum in Buffalo, New York.
The Arab American Heritage Month celebration was attended by city officials, and we had the pleasure of welcoming Mamdou Sire-Bah from the Executive Chamber of the New York State Government, who presented Arabesques with a proclamation from Governor Kathy Hochul declaring April as Arab American Heritage Month.

With possible Funding from National Endowment for The Art and the support of New York Folklore, the team of Arabesques was able to host a community event to celebrate the Arabic Heritage Month. The event was held at Sanaa Cafe on Hertel Ave, Buffalo, New York. The attendees were from different cultural backgrounds and everyone enjoyed the program, the Arabic coffee and desserts. The event was curated by Nada Odeh, music by Paul hage & Mirage, and poetry reading Wafaa Jaafar El Solh.
April is National Arab American Heritage Month. It celebrates the Arab American heritage and culture and pays tribute to the contributions of Arab Americans and Arabic-speaking Americans.
